Matthew G. Holyoak
Matthew G. Holyoak graduated from Brigham Young University in 2003 with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. He received his J.D from the University of Houston in 2006 where he served as the articles editor for the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. Matt moved back to his home state of Washington in 2006 where he worked as an associate attorney at the law firm Lineberry Kenney, PLLC in Poulsbo until joining the Shiers Law Firm LLP in 2010. Matt became a partner in the Shiers Law Firm LLP in 2016.
Matt enjoys playing basketball, golf, guitar, and coaching his kids’ youth sports teams.

Representative Experience
- Represent clients in preparing estate plans for small and large estates including wills, trusts, community property agreements, fiduciary and health care decision durable powers of attorney, and health care directives to physicians ("living wills").
- Represent personal representatives in probate of small and large estates including preparing inventory, accounting, and distribution of estates.
- Represent buyers and sellers in residential and commercial real estate transactions.
- Represent clients in boundary line disputes, creation and enforcement of easements, water system agreements, and other real estate matters.
- Represent buyers and sellers in business sales and other commercial transactions.
- Represent clients in creating limited liability companies, corporations, and nonprofit corporations.
